Cornel Barbut
FAFCE Vice-President
Cornel Barbut is 54 years old, married, one 24 years boy, entrepreneur since 18 years, working in Telecommunications based on Fiber Optic, Smart City, Smart Metering and Internet of Things. He is VicePresident of FAFCE since 2018 and member of Association of Catholic Families Vladimir Ghika from Bucharest. His wife is Artist (Painter) and he organized in Bucharest in 2010 the first edition of White Night of Art Studios with 12 Art Studios Tour during the night. Also he had launched a concept of Art Leasing versus Art Buy and he is an Art and Culture lover.

Bénédicte Colin
FAFCE Policy Manager
Graduated in European studies and international relations, Bénédicte Colin is Policy Manager at the Federation of Catholic Family Associations in Europe since 2019. Based in Brussels, she follows the work of the European Union and the Council of Europe on files related to the family. She coordinates the management on European projects related to family topics, including the European Art Contest.

Sophie Roubertie
Author – Art mediator
Sophie Roubertie graduated from the University of Paris-Dauphine and began her career in finance. Passionate about art and transmission, she likes to share the wonders of our heritage. Her uninhibited approach to art allows her to address all audiences, through training and conferences. She is also a cultural journalist for the radio and several web and paper magazines. She is the author of “Apprendre à voir – La vie dans l’art ” (Ed Téqui).

Claire Servel
History of Art specialist
Claire Servel is graduated from the Ecole du Louvre in Paris in History of art, especially italien and spanish painting from 15th to 18th century. She has strong interest in cultural mediation to share art to large audience.

Toma Verly
Musician
Playing the piano since he was 5 years old, Toma Verly graduated from the Music University of Bucharest with a bachelor degree in piano, where he studied secondary organ and composition. Now he’s studying for a master degree, at the same university, classical composition. He’s also an active liturgical organist in Bucharest and also a teacher, since 2017.

Maria Waszkiewice
FAFCE Policy and Communication Intern
Graduated in Classics at the University of Warsaw, Maria has been an active participant of family-related events as a member of the Large Families Association in Poland (ZDR 3Plus). Currently she joined Brussels FAFCE Office as a Policy and Communication Intern.
